Welcome to Ventura County's Great Cloth Diaper Event

Join us on April 20th, 2013 as we attempt to break the world record for the most cloth diapers changed at one time! This world record attempt is a great way to show the world how many people are already choosing and using reusable cloth diapers successfully. But there are still a lot of people who don’t know about cloth diapers. If you want to help spread the word about cloth diapers, please join the Real Diaper Association, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that advocates for the use of reusable cloth diapers.

Not a cloth diaper user? You can still participate! Register your baby and leave a comment letting us know that you will need to borrow a cloth diaper for the event. Borrowed cloth diapers will be returned after the official change is over. (No need to worry about weather the diaper is soiled during the event or not - we wash them!)

Thanks to MommaWords.com and The Real Diaper Circle for Ventura County for making this event happen!

When: Saturday, April 20th, 2013 (Event will open at 9:30 AM. All participants are required to be onsite by 10:30AM - at the latest - for registration.)

What do I bring: We will be changing our babies and toddlers on a hard surface so please bring something to lay them on (blanket, yoga mat, etc).  For this record, each baby must be changed from a cloth or disposable diaper into a reusable cloth diaper that must a commercially available cloth diaper. That means available for purchase online or in a store. Unfortunately, homemade diapers that are not commercially available cannot be used. This is a very strict rule from Guinness World Records (TM).
If you make this is a family event and have an older sibling that would like to participate, bring a baby doll so that they can participate in the Mini Great Cloth Diaper Change!

Are there rules to follow? Yes there are:
